Question to GP Maarten: High blood pressure and medication?
Blood pressure remains a problem… after the debacle of the Exforge HCT 10mg / 160mg / 12,5mg which gave me the much too low blood pressure of around 80/60, I went back on my old meds.
I plan to eventually move to Thailand, in the north of Thailand. So halfway between Loei and UdonThani. But since I take a lot of medication I wonder if these would all be available there?
I am very happy with the fast effect of the Finasteride. But now I notice that around the start of taking this medicine I got swollen ankles. That lasted about 3 days, and is now much less, but still: still retaining some moisture.
Question to general practitioner Maarten: Can I continue taking my medication indefinitely?

Question to GP Maarten: Medicines for muscle rheumatism make me dizzy, tired and cause pain in my lower legs
I've been back in Thailand for 2 weeks now and notice that if I bend over slightly, I immediately get dizzy. I am very very tired after walking up 2 flights of stairs (14 steps). My lower legs feel like they have a very tight bandage wrapped around them. Been suffering from this for a long time.
What strikes me is that the prices per Pharmacy differ quite a bit. How is that possible?

Question to GP Maarten: Omicron contamination and I take Favira but I don't feel good about it
Now I have contracted covid-19 with only minor runny nose and sore throat. An x-ray picture has been taken. Get doctor's advice now to take 9 tablets of Favira at a time, twice a day. Repeat after 2 days. I don't feel comfortable with that.
I have prostate cancer with bone metastases and have had 22 chemos. Stopped now, would like to go to our home in Thailand and I don't have much time left. I use the drugs Abstral 100 MI FENTANYL for sublingual and FENTANYL SANDOZ MATRIX PATCHES 37 UG.
