In the past I worked with Kasikorn internet banking, but at a certain point the OTP messages were no longer coming through. What is the easiest and most reliable way from the Netherlands? For example, to transfer Thai electricity bills from a Thai bank account. Preferably without being dependent on a Thai telephone number with roaming?
Opening a bank account in Thailand and internet banking
I live in the Netherlands but would like to open a bank account because of the holidays here in Thailand, I have a condo in Thailand but no yellow household book (yet). Which banks would be eligible and at which of them can you easily do internet banking?
Have a joint account here (Doi Saket – Chiang Mai) with the Krung Thai Bank and one in my own name only. I can also do internet banking with the person who is only in my name. However, with the account in both names (both Dutch nationalities) it is not possible, or at least that is what KTB says, to be able to do internet banking.
Reader submission: ING electronic banking part 2
I have already submitted something about electronic banking at ING, so this will be part II. I would also like to share this experience with you. Maybe I put it on or maybe I'm just unlucky every time or maybe just make something up!
Reader question: Internet banking with the Bangkok Bank app
I have installed the Bangkok Bank app. This one works for the basic functions, but I can't create a 3rd party for example. If I want to request a user ID for internet banking, I have to enter my PIN code, among other things. I don't feel like that. Can someone tell me what the added value is of internet banking at the Bangkok Bank compared to the app?
Reader question: I am looking for a bank where I can also use the internet with a Euro account

I have been coming to Thailand for years and have an account with Bangkok Bank. Now this week I went there to inquire about the possibility of internet banking. But I now have a different phone number than when I opened the bank account. So it's no longer possible. According to them I have to get papers at the embassy to open a new bank account in Thailand.

Reader question: Who on Koh Tao carries a Rabo random reader?
I'm on the island of Koh Tao and forgot to bring my Rabo random reader for internet banking. Is there a Dutchman who is on Koh Tao and has one with him? Then I can activate my Rabo internet banking app, so that I can do internet banking because I will be staying longer in Thailand than I thought.
I have been living in Thailand for almost 10 years now. Have an account with Kasikornbank almost from the start. This has slowly grown into a few accounts that I can use electronically with internet banking for various transactions.
A strange thing, internet banking was refused to me at GSB bank. I have my pension deposited there every month as of 01-01-2016. I also have two fixed accounts there. I also have an account with Krungtai and Kasikorn bank where I can use internet banking.
Who can help me with a good, customer-friendly, cooperative bank? Currently I am at Kasikornbank bank but even internet banking seems impossible there.
At which Thai bank can you do internet banking from the Netherlands, without having to have a Thai mobile phone number?
I would like to bring the following to your attention, as I think I am not alone with the problem at the ING bank. This is the report I had with ING via Facebook. For the past few weeks I have had to enter a Pac code every time I log in to ING internet banking to view my accounts and balance.
