I live in Chiang Mai and I would like to do a total check up. Gastroscopy, endoscopy, sugar, lung (function), MRI scan, etc. etc.
I feel totally, but totally exhausted, bowel movements are not right, my appetite is not what it should be, I prefer to sleep all day.
Thailand question: Can European charging stations for (PH)EV vehicles be used in Thailand?
Currently there is a Wallbox on my front of the house in the Netherlands for charging my PHEV; it can handle 11 kW (but not the car). In addition, I have 2 charging cables for a normal 220V (Schuko) connection approx. 3.5 kW with the same purpose.
I am looking for a good government hospital because many private hospitals are too expensive for me. If I'm not mistaken, I read a post here a while ago about the Chulalongkorn memorial hospital in Bangkok. Unfortunately I can't find this anymore.
Thailand question: send 10 boxes to the Netherlands?
It has been a few years since I emigrated to Thailand from the Netherlands. I then took my few possessions with me. Now, at almost 80, I want to ship specific items back to the Netherlands. They are books, CDs, DVDs, videos and the monopoly game from around 1960 with all original attributes. In total about 10 boxes weight 80 kilos. Now I'm looking for a carrier (forwarder) but can't find it on the internet either.
For years I have been using (Transfer)Wise for transactions to our account in Thailand; with great satisfaction. Now - after the umpteenth malfunction at that orange lion, last Friday - I was quite fed up and transferred the savings, approx. € 20.000, - to my Wise Euro account. Just on the current account you will receive more interest there (at Wise) than with the Orange savings account of this club!, where a paltry 1% interest will be paid from 0.90 June.
My Belgian driving license expires in June. I am unable to travel back to Belgium in time to replace this. I do have a valid Thai driver's license.

I'm a rookie of 62. On June 29th I'm going to Thailand for 3 weeks. In Bangkok I have a girlfriend who wants to drive me around. Do any of you have a suggestion for a tour that is not too touristy, which places to visit?
Thailand Question: Chiropractor in Chiangmai?
My Thai girlfriend obviously has a Thai bank account. Soon I will go to Thailand again. I am now wondering what is cheaper: just withdraw money from an ATM (I withdraw 20.000 or 30.000 baht at a time), or that I transfer money to her account via Wise and she withdraws it via the ATM,
My family and I with 2 teenagers are going to Thailand in August and we would love to ride and experience the Mae Hong Son loop (waterfalls, trekking, outdoor), but I fear the rainy season and have googled stupidly, but can't find or finish anywhere is it possible or is it possible?
I was married years ago in Bangglamung in community of property under Thai law. This marriage was never registered by me in the Netherlands. It turns out that it is, to what extent do the NL laws apply? This in case of a divorce.

At the front of our house we have an existing terrace that we would have liked to have made a bit bigger. A local contractor was approached, the price agreed and they started yesterday. The soil was dug up neatly and mechanically dammed. Installed some formwork boards, so far no problem.

I would like to go back to the Netherlands or Belgium, but I want to take my Thai life partner with me, after all, our relationship has been going on for eight years and you don't give that up.
Who has experience with this issue? My wife is 61 years old and I am 64 years old.
For the time being, my Thai girlfriends remain “permanently separated” (for more than 3 years, with longer visits to each other 3 times a year). Who has (recently) entered into a registered partnership or marriage in the Netherlands on this basis, and wants to share the pros and cons with me. And any tips, advice and experiences?
