Day of the Entrepreneur on Friday 15 November 2019
There is a separate day for everything: a Construction Day, Secretary's Day, Mother's Day. But there was no 'Day of the Entrepreneur' yet. And this while there are many entrepreneurs who add enormous value to our country with their company. MKB-Nederland believes that entrepreneurs deserve respect for their efforts and that there should be a moment when attention is paid to the interests of entrepreneurs.
Minor Building Partnerships in Thailand
In February 2020, a new program will start at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences under the title “Minor 'Building Partnerships in Southeast Asia (Thailand)'. Part of this training is that students make contact with a Dutch company or organization interested in Thailand, for which an assignment is carried out during a mission in Thailand.
Waste management mission to Thailand and Malaysia
In collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the embassy in Thailand, the Dutch embassy in Malaysia is organizing a waste management mission. It will take place from 6 to 11 October in Thailand and Malaysia.
Myrthe is also looking for contact for her Minor Building Partnerships Thailand study
The Thailand Business Foundation has again received a request for assistance from a student who is seeking contact with a Dutch company or institution. Whereas Remi van Batenburg's request earlier this week was rather concise, Myrthe Joosten has now explained in detail what the intention is.
In collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Dutch Embassy in Thailand, the Dutch Embassy in Malaysia is organizing a mission to promote and facilitate cooperation between Dutch companies and the Malaysian and Thai health sectors.
Student contacts Dutch company for Thailand study assignment
The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences has a good education, which relates to the promotion of trade of the Netherlands in Thailand. It is Minor Building Partnership Thailand; we have written about it before, you can read all the details of this study at www.minorbuildingpartnerships.com
Company Geonoise Thailand, grown almost silently
One of the newer members of Stichting Thailand Zakelijk is Geonoise, which we would like to introduce to you. Geonoise does sell a very special product, namely….silence!
In August, a so-called minor program “Building Partnerships in Thailand” will start again at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The participants need a Dutch company to enable them to complete that study. Earlier this year we gave a number of students the opportunity to explain their wishes on this blog and this time we let Maurits van Hasselt speak.
Who are those people of Thailand Business?
On this blog we have often paid attention to SME Thailand, which is now called Stichting Thailand Zakelijk. A beautiful website is now available, which provides extensive information about how you - as an entrepreneur or future entrepreneur - could realize your plans for doing business in Thailand. In the messages, the flamboyant chairman (and founder) Martien Vlemmix is often in the spotlight, but it's not all about him.
Royal DSM in Thailand
You are undoubtedly familiar with the Koninklijke DSM, a company that originated from the former Dutch State Mines in South Limburg. DSM now has several hundred branches all over the world, which are active in the fields of health, nutrition and raw materials for the chemical industry.
Tesco is going to expand in Thailand
You may have noticed, I see more and more Tesco Express stores popping up, often close to a Family Mart or 7-Eleven store. The competition in that sector of convenience stores is apparently fierce, because even a few times I see where a Tesco Express appears, especially the nearby Family Mart disappears after a while.
Are you active in the Life Sciences & Health sector and are you interested in the ASEAN market? Then join the mission to Malaysia and Thailand from 8 to 13 September.
SME Thailand merges into Stichting Thailand Zakelijk
You have been able to read regular postings on this blog about the activities of SME Thailand. SME Thailand has been helping small and medium-sized companies from Bangkok for seven years with advice and answers to pressing questions. SME Thailand is now part of the Thailand Business Foundation, which simply continues the good work, but more professionally.
This week a job advertisement caught my attention, a Trade Marketer Asia Pacific for Farm Frites, a Dutch producer of fries, fries if you will, and other potato products.
Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube (Singapore) Pte Ltd today celebrated its 40th anniversary and announced the further strengthening of its regional headquarters in Singapore as a Project Management Hub for the Asia Pacific region. The prospects for project activities in the region are positive. The Dutch company also has a stock location in Thailand (Chonburi).
Another opportunity for market research in Thailand
This is already the third article, in which a student of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences places a call for contact with a Dutch company that is interested in Thailand. It was actually a cry for help from Josin, because both the RVO and the Chamber of Commerce did not want to help her because of a "privacy policy"(?)
Hello my name is Romy Rozestraten and I am a third year student at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. I study international business and management and for that I was commissioned to do market research for a Dutch company in Thailand.
