I have a question that I'm not entirely clear on. What exactly do you have to pay tax on? For example: I have been deregistered from the Netherlands and pay tax on my pension in the Netherlands. I also have some savings in the bank.

After four decades of loyal customership with AXA Belgium, my relationship with AXA comes to an unexpected end. The reason? My recent move to Thailand. AXA's decision, which follows my deregistration from Belgium, marks a remarkable turn in my long-standing relationship with the bank/insurer.

Questioner: Jan I have visa questions. By way of introduction, something about the situation. I am in the Netherlands in the summer and in Thailand in the winter, last year for 3 months, now six months. I also want to stay in Thailand for six months in a row in the coming years. I live there in Chanthaburi in the house of my Thai wife whom I married in the Netherlands. She and I never realized until now that we were obliged...

Perhaps the question about the change regarding the Non Immigration visa O (Multi Entry) has been asked before, so I apologize for asking again.
I am here in Thailand with a good acquaintance who entered Thailand with a so-called 'Visa exemption' and has now only received his 90-day visa via his email address.
I am of the opinion that he must now cross the border again to have this newly printed visa actually activated by means of a new entry stamp in his passport.

As a deregistered Dutch citizen, I have had the above health insurance policy for more than 10 years. Besides the price, I am very satisfied, but I fear the future of this insurance. As is known, no new applications will be processed. The number of insured people worldwide is therefore shrinking and aging. The group is becoming increasingly rickety, sicker and older, resulting in premiums skyrocketing.

I have Belgian nationality, have been married to my Thai wife for many years and live in Thailand. In a few months we plan to go on holiday to my home country (Belgium). I read earlier on the blog that you recommend applying for a visa for my wife at another EU embassy (not at the Belgian embassy).

We are on holiday in Hua Hin and I think I have a bladder infection again. That is a recurring thing for me. Is there any way to get a medication that will help get rid of it? I don't have an allergy to any medicine.

The landlord had not yet completed or submitted a TM30, after all he only has local residents in his houses, we are the only foreigners. He has given an authorization so that we can complete the TM30 ourselves every time we arrive in Thailand, after all we have a multiple entry tourist e-visa. The employee indicated that it is not a problem as long as the tm30 is on time the next time, of course this is different for every other immigration officer.

I have a one year extension based on marriage and am going to Cambodia by land next week. I was wondering if you know if I can also get a Re-entry permit at the Aranyaprathet border or is that only at the airports in Bangkok?

I have a question about peas/green peas. These are frozen per kilo package and can be purchased almost everywhere. Makro has several brands of it. Now I read that split peas are originally dried peas, which are split into two halves after being dried. My question is: has anyone ever made a kind of pea soup from the green peas for sale at Makro? Maybe also a recipe?
