This week a major tragedy occurred in our neighborhood. Murder and suicide! In the morning my wife heard on the radio that two people were being murdered, but she couldn't say exactly. We thought it was in the old village where we lived a few years ago.

Went to the Thai embassy today to apply for a visa for a stay of 3 months in Thailand. Fortunately, after a few years I knew the papers I needed for the application. But I noticed how much irritation there was among the people who did not have the right papers with them and especially that you have to pay in cash and there was no ATM available.

My wife and I are 70 and 71 years old, both AOW and pension totaling 4.200 euros net. We want to go to Thailand for 90 days and have booked a hotel in Hua Hin. On the embassy website I see what I have to hand in, such as application form, valid passport, passport photo, copy of tickets and hotel booking and 70 euros pp. But do I also have to prove our monthly income and how do I do that?

Would like to watch a TV program on my tablet in Thailand every now and then via the Ziggo app. How is that possible? Do I first have to install a VPN app so that Ziggo cannot 'see' that I am in Thailand or is that not possible?

Just like previous years, we are going to Thailand for 4 months. We then stay in Jomtien but have to hop on a visa after 3 months.
Last year it was Cambodia, but this year we want to do Laos or Malaysia. We can't decide, that's why we put this problem to you.

Anyone who is somewhat familiar with the Thai press knows that they are full of curious 'petit histoires'. One of those stories that really intrigues me is that of one Sakchai Suphanthamat. Various sources, including even the Bangkok Post, have reported on this man's strange, if not bizarre, quest in recent years.

I have a question about entering Thailand. The last 3 years I have always entered on a tourist visa that, as is known, is valid for 60 days and could be extended by 30 days. Never had a problem with the application, only on the penultimate time I was asked for my financials and whether I had documents with me that could prove it. I didn't have anything with me because I didn't expect that question.
I then went to the Dutch Embassy to get a statement of my income.

I have always watched TV here in Thailand via NL Euro TV Asia and now wanted to do this again. If, however, send them an email via [email protected] I get it back undeliverable. Of course I can just transfer the known amount, but if the e-mail address no longer works, I am afraid that everything will be out.

Because I bought a condominium I want to make a simple will. I want my legal wife who holds a Thai and Dutch passport to inherit my condo. As well as all my money at the Kasikornbank. In the unlikely event that my wife dies before she has no children, I want my two daughters and my four grandchildren to be the heirs.
