Looking into the future of Thailand
At the initiative of the Thai Board Of Investment (BOI), a large and large-scale exhibition is being organized for the third time since 1985, where the public can admire all kinds of innovative ideas, new technologies and plans for the future. The BOI Fair started on January 5 and will run until January 20. Near Impact Lake, Muang Thong Thani, there are 300.000 pavilions with a total of 84 stands on an area of 3.200 m². During that period, 5 million (!) visitors are expected to come and take a look at the future of Thailand.

When Thai students graduate, they hardly speak English and that could break the country when the Asean Economic Community takes effect in 2015, academics warn. The labor market will then be open to workers from all ten countries. Countries like Singapore and the Philippines have an advantage with a workforce that speaks much better English.
