Land in Bangkok is worth a lot of money and that is an important reason for the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) to develop a large part of half of the 900 rai in Khlong Toey, which it owns, into a commercial area. The port area will be reduced to 500 rai for this purpose, with a shopping center, trade center and other commercial activities to be built on the remaining 400 rai.
