Dear Ronnie,

As a reader I have a question. I'm going to Thailand for 30 days and the Philippines for 30 days. Do I need a visa for Thailand?

Dear Kees,

In this case, you do not need a visa for Thailand.

Upon entry you will receive a “Visa Exemption” of 30 days.

If you go to Thailand first, make sure you already have the ticket to the Philippines. At check-in, you can possibly ask for proof that you will leave Thailand within 30 days. With that ticket to the Philippines you meet that requirement.
