I have read a lot with you regarding a Non O Immigrant visa. My question now is, I am married to a Filipino woman, she is 40 years young, I have a retired visa and we are married under Thai law. Do the same regulations and documents apply if you are married to a Thai?

Last year my Thai girlfriend came to the Netherlands with China Southern Airlines. No problem, the transfer in Guangzhou also went smoothly. This morning she would visit me again this time with Xiamen airlines via Xiamen. However, she called me completely upset, from Bangkok, that she was not allowed to come. If you fly to the Netherlands via Xiaman, as a Thai woman you need a visa for China, so she couldn't come along! What a disaster!

We have been to Thailand a few times for 1 and 2 months now we want to go to Thailand for 4 to 6 months. We both no longer work, my husband is 64 and has a life-course savings scheme, so he still has a pay slip that he has until his AOW and ABP pension. that remains to be seen, probably October 2021 at the age of 67. (due to the bickering about the AOW age).

I want to apply for a non-immigrant visa at the Thai embassy in The Hague soon. One of the forms is “Medical Certificate”. I have already copied it and asked my doctor to fill it in and sign it. This indicated that the necessary tests could not be carried out. Where in the Netherlands can/want to make this medical statement? Or should I just go to a random doctor who wants it?

Now I would like to know what is the most efficient solution for the following situation, namely I would have liked to come back to Thailand at the beginning of May 2019 to follow up my construction project, but the marriage with my Thai partner is planned at the beginning of July 2019… How do I I do this best?

There are two main periods that are directly linked to a visa. Namely the period of validity of a visa and the length of stay that you can obtain with that visa. Both have a direct link to the visa, but it is still important to see them separately. They have nothing to do with each other directly. It is therefore very important to understand what they mean, because they are often the cause of many misunderstandings.

Yesterday when I welcomed my tenant from Switzerland he told me a novelty when applying for a 3 months visa. He was asked to provide a residence address and a copy of the landlord's passport with the application. Are there more of these experiences that, in addition to the income problem, do not make it easier to be present as an expat (and entrepreneur)?

To stimulate tourism to Thailand, a number of visa changes have been made. The first was the entry visa, which gave access to a one-time entry into Thailand, which would be changed into an entry that would be valid twice within a six-month period.

Are you traveling to Vietnam? Pay close attention to how you apply for a visa. The Vietnamese embassy in the Netherlands warns travelers against applying for 'visa on arrival' at service providers and websites other than the Vietnamese embassy in The Hague itself. The (only) correct website of the Vietnamese embassy is vnembassy-thehague.mofa.gov.vn/en-us/

My first question: when should I report my first 90 days? Do I have to start counting from my entry on September 01, 2018 or from October 16, 2018 (the day I received my annual extension) or from November 29, 2018? My second question: has anyone had good or bad experiences with online 90 days reporting in Chiang Mai?
