We traveled to Phuket very often but stopped doing so a few years ago because it was suddenly decided not to allow sunbeds and umbrellas anymore. We always stay at the Holiday Inn Resort or the Patong Merlin Hotel. We would love to travel again but want to know if that ridiculous ban is still in place. I also read something about so-called 10 percent zones where this is now allowed again.
