Thailand Visa question No. 173/23: Year extension – Austrian Consul letter or embassy visa support letter?
Concerns annual extension (retirement visa O) based on THB 65.000 income per month. I do this every year with the income statement from the Austrian consul without any problems. My question is this still accepted or does it now have to be the official letter from the NL embassy?
Some time ago I asked you about your income (pension) which will be deposited into my Thai Bangkok bank account, to be used for immigration. I have enough direct income from Belgium and wanted to test the rules by applying for an extension with a bank statement of my annual income from the Bangkok Bank.
Proof of BKB of annual income or monthly deposits is that also accepted by immigration? Or do I always have to provide proof through an affidavit or through 800000 baht account. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Do you perhaps also know whether the “income statement” with presentation of the extract from the (Belgian) pension service and declared legal by the Austrian consul is now also accepted by Immigration?
TB Immigration Infobrief Nr 015/22: Immigration Ranong – Income statement Austrian Consul refused
During my renewal of my annual visa in Ranong Non immigrant retirement, my application was rejected due to my letter of support from the Austrian consul. For the past 6 years, this income statement has always been accepted.
At the beginning of September I have to renew my annual visa and so far I have always used the income statement from the Austrian consulate here in Pattaya. At the beginning of this year I read that there were some problems with this statement. My question is can I use this statement or do I have to arrange something else?
Thailand Visa question No. 045/21: Period of validity of income statement or affidavit
As we have already heard, the Belgian consulate will stop issuing an affidavit (or income statement) at the end of June. My question is the following, I have a friend who informed me that the affidavit document is valid 6 months after the date issued by the consulate.
TB Immigration Infobrief No. 008/21: Income statement Austrian Consulate no longer accepted
Yesterday I went to Immigration office Soi 5 Jomtien in Pattaya to have a new annual visa made. I had several copies with me of what I still thought I needed. There I was told that income statement drawn up by Austrian Consulate in Pattaya is no longer accepted.
Thailand Visa Request No. 092/20: Validity Period of Income Statement or Visa Support Letter
I have a question about the income statement or the visa support letter. How long can it be valid for immigration?
Now that the income statement can only be sent by post, the following is possible. Provide sufficient postage for the return envelope for EMS shipping. My return envelope had not arrived after 18 days.
An income statement can still be obtained at the Austrian Consulate in Pattaya (and is still accepted by Thai immigration) for the extension based on “retirement”. The Austrian consulate does not issue an income statement for the extension based on “Thai wife”, which I personally asked.
Visa for Thailand: Can the Austrian consul in Pattaya also make the income statement for Belgians?
Can the Austrian consul in Pattaya also make this income statement for Belgians? This was recently contradicted…hence.
Does anyone know if the Austrian consul still issues income statements? The problem is that the Dutch embassy only wants to issue this for money from the Netherlands and that is just too little, but it is allowed in combination with 400.000 baht in the bank. I also receive some pension from abroad, and that is enough.
I read here that several immigration offices are asking for legalization of the income statement. This via the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In order not to have to do this in person, the question is: Are there reliable offices that can arrange this quickly and accurately by mail? If so, what is the procedure, costs and time involved?
British and American embassy stops issuing income statement
There is commotion on a well-known English-language forum, thousands of comments. It concerns the British and American embassies that have announced that they will no longer issue proof of income from 01-01-2019. The British and Americans will therefore only be able to obtain an “extension” if there is 400.000 or 800.000 ThB in a Thai bank account.
Searching the website of the Dutch Embassy for an income statement, required for an annual visa, was quite a task for me. But I found it.
I have state pension from the Netherlands and Belgium. Do I now have to go to 2 embassies for my income statement annual visa? I have a Dutch passport.
