I am insured in the Netherlands with worldwide coverage, but my Anderzorg insurance does not want to issue an English statement stating that there is Covid-19 coverage for $100.000. Do any of you have a Dutch health insurer that does issue this letter? Good to switch in the future. Now I will have to take out extra Thai insurance.
Reader question: $19 Covid-100.00 insurance
I know that it has been discussed here on Thailand blog several times, but I am still curious about the experiences of people who have recently entered Thailand. My insurance gives full Covid cover but no amount. On the website of the Thai embassy there is a link for a Covid-19 insurance covid19.tgia.org
Do you have experience with insurance coverage as far as COVID is concerned? Is it better to take out a (more expensive) local insurance policy that has less coverage for the rest of the costs?
Reader question: Certificate of Entry (CoE) and insurance with US 100.000 COVID coverage?
Does anyone have recent (after January 1) experience applying for the Certificate of Entry (CoE), and the mandatory insurance with COVID coverage of at least US 100.000?
Reader question: Emirates Covid-19 insurance
Does anyone have experience with the Covid-19 insurance for Thailand, which Emirates provides when booking a ticket? Is it compatible for Thailand?
Reader submission: No reimbursement from your insurance on admission with a positive Covid-19 test
It has been reported on various forums, including Thaiger.com news, that there are various health insurance policies and/or travel insurance policies that do not reimburse hospitalization due to a positive covid-19 test if there are no symptoms of illness.
Thailand visa question No. 191/20: Which Dutch health insurance policies have covid coverage up to $ 100.000 or unlimited?
I plan to apply for a tourist visa or non-immigrant O visa at the Consulate in Amsterdam in early 2021. There they now ask for, among other things, Covid-19 insurance up to $ 100.000 or unlimited.
Reader question: Insurance statement with Covid-19 coverage?
Today I received permission to further arrange my trip to Thailand. For this I had to submit an English statement from my health insurance.
My wife (Thai) and I (Belgian) would like to visit Thailand early next year with our son (20 months, Belgian) for a longer period (6-9 months). An Application for Certificate of Entry is possible on the basis of “(3) Non-Thai nationals who are spouses, parents, or children of Thai nationals”.
I have been a father of a Thai daughter since July 2nd. I am on the birth certificate and the Thai embassy has indicated that I can apply for the Certificate of Entry (CoE). The last item I need for my CoE is the statement from an insurance company certifying that I am insured against Covid-19 and at least up to USD 100.000.
