I am on holiday in Pattaya and saw someone in Tukcom who sold a box that offers practically all TV channels for free. The box costs between 2.700 and 3.900 baht. My question: does anyone have experience with this? At least you don't have to pay 700 baht every month.

I am planning to spend 1 or 2 weeks next week or so near Pattaya coming from Chiang Mai. I rent a car there so the hotel doesn't have to be walking distance or anything. In my opinion, the neighborhood is 5 to 20 kilometers from Pattaya. I am looking for a small family bungalow hotel, so no rooms, quiet location but not necessarily directly on the beach. However, if possible, facilities in the hotel or immediate vicinity.
