A question about dual nationality. My daughter-in-law is Thai and together with my son who is Belgian, we have a two month old daughter. To apply for Thai nationality (i.e. birth certificate in Thailand), the consulate asks for various documents, including an official document from the hospital with its details. But this birth certificate is delivered to the municipality and they then make an official birth certificate.

And then request an extension of 1 year based on my age 50+ (retirement). However, after digging through a lot of blogs, I'm still not sure.

Recently a very enlightening article was published on Thailandblog regarding the procedure to be followed for metered taxis at Suvarnabhumi. What I wonder is where are these willing to drive? You cannot prohibit people from using water, so the Thai government cannot do more than a call to use water sparingly during Songkran. Prime Minister Prayut is very concerned about the drought that is ravaging large parts of Thailand, says government spokesman Sansern.
