The rainy season has started again in Thailand. Rob de Nijs sang “Softly the rain taps on the attic window” which sounds romantic, but I am increasingly experiencing that water can be a real danger.
I am applying for a 60 day tourist visa. I must provide a hotel confirmation of my stay. However, I stay at home with my Thai wife. Is that a problem?

My wife is Thai and was supposed to go to Thailand with the kids for holiday yesterday on July 24 for 6 weeks. She is Thai by nationality and the children are Dutch. The holiday has now been canceled because the procedure stopped during check-in at Schiphol because the children do not have a visa and are staying longer than 30 years.
