It is rainy season again in Thailand, good for agriculture, sometimes less good due to possible flooding. Here in Pattaya every day there is a shower or a heavy downpour, which temporarily floods the streets. I don't mind, I like the look of rain, running water continues to fascinate.

Before the corona time, we went to Thailand and Cambodia every year in January and February. This year, due to circumstances, I want in October and December. Because apparently October is the last month of the rainy season and we want to start early October in the Lampang, Prae and Loei area.

Which islands can you recommend us in terms of weather (as it can be rainy season)? Where is the average chance of sun in October, is that the side of Krabi (Lanta, Phi Phi etc) or Pangang, Koh Samui or the islands close to Cambodia (Koh Chang, Mak, Koh Samet)?
