Judging by how Thai men are written about on various forums, they must be devilish creatures. They don't have any positive features if you believe the comments. Not all expats in Thailand are of impeccable conduct, because a minority of them tarnish the reputation of foreigners, I call them the prejudiced people, the White Knights and the Cheap Charlies, in short, the bastards. One cannot tar expats with the same brush and one sees favorable and less favorable characteristics of those foreigners. I have now come to know them over the years and sometimes classify them – after the title of the classic western – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Doesn't drink or smoke. Had a small moving company with a very old pick-up where she lifted many heavy loads. After a few falls about 2 years ago, research showed that a hernia with a sciatica infection or entrapment had occurred but not serious enough to operate or too risky.

Swimming in the Mekong River

Swimming in a canal or river was the most normal thing in the world in my younger years. We didn't always have the money to pay the entrance to an official swimming pool, so we often dived into one of the two channels near my hometown.

When I tell newcomers about what the nightlife in Pattaya was like during my first visits in the early XNUMXs, I always talk about Walking Street.
