Thailand question: Rhinoplasty for my Thai wife?
My Thai wife insists on having a nose job done in Thailand because she doesn't like her nose. Of course I think that's nonsense, haha. My opinion is, you don't get cut in a healthy body, but those women are driven crazy on Facebook, with all those clinics advertising. I've already put forward a lot of arguments not to do it, but you're talking to a wall. But it's her own body, so she goes through with it anyway.

For many Thai women it comes out of their nose. What? The nose! eh? What do you mean exactly? Well, Thai women like white skin very much, but also a Western nose. A big gamble, I mean. Who can put you in other people's business.

Reader question: missing a nasal bone in Thai?
There was an intriguing comment in one of the previous reader's questions about eyewear in Thailand. Namely about the lack of the nasal bone in Thais, or maybe only in Thais from the Isaan. I've searched the internet, but 'nasal bone' actually only comes up with Down syndrome, kickboxing and sniffing drugs. But nothing about entire populations that would naturally not have a nasal bone.
