In recent years, the sad stories about the persecution of the Rohingya, especially in Myanmar, have increasingly come out through the media. On Thailandblog you could read a number of stories about it in May 2015, so more than five years ago. The Rohingya is an ethnic group with a worldwide population of between one and a half and three million people. Most of them live in Rakhine, a province in western Myanmar, on the border with Bangladesh and form a stateless Muslim minority there.

We are considering building a new house in Isaan (late 2021 or early 2022 somewhere in the Chaiapum//Korat/Khonkaen region, not too far from Phon). Does anyone have experience with a good (and reliable) construction company and/or also a reasonably independent good construction supervisor for the times when we are not there?

As the title says, how do you deal with a long distance relationship now in times of Corona? I haven't seen my girlfriend since February 2020. I already know this will be for the whole year. And deep down I suspect that it won't work out in 2021 either. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear that for most of us, we won't see our girlfriends / wives for a very long time. If the relationship with me was not so deep and advanced, it would probably have ended long ago, since there is no longer any future perspective.
