My girlfriend lives in a 1-room apartment. It is very hot and she only has two fans. I suggested buying such a portable air conditioner (regular air conditioner is not possible because the landlord doesn't want to, break it to install). These mobiles are not that expensive, I saw a good one from Hatari at Homepro for 8.000 baht. I want to give it to her as a gift. She does not want that because she is afraid of a high electricity bill.

It is quite hot in Thailand and I get heat rash on my chest and stomach. A kind of small blisters. According to my Thai girlfriend you should use talcum powder, that would help. I have my doubts. Who knows what's going on?

Does the sewage system in Pattaya still drain to the sea?

I know that a few years ago the sewage system of Pattaya was simply discharged into the sea. Is that still the case or has the situation improved? I don't feel like swimming there in the sea among the turds.

I currently have a Non Immigrant O visa valid until October 3, 2019. I will enter the country via Bangkok a few days before and will get a stamp in my passport for a stay of 90 days. So at the end of December I will have to do something to be able to stay even longer.

The file also describes that upon entry into the Schengen area, the traveler must have a valid visa.
