Qatar Airways flies to as many as seven times a day this winter season Bangkok. That is considerably more than last year in the winter period. The airline from Doha then flew to the Thai capital five times a day, according to Routes Online.

Qatar uses different types of aircraft on the route: Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and Airbus A340-600.

Due to the two extra daily flights, Qatar offers more flights than Emirates, which will fly six times a week to Bangkok in the coming winter season. The other Middle Eastern airline, Etihad, offers this destination three times a day. Together, Emirates of Dubai, Etihad Airways of Abu Dhabi and Qatar Airways of Doha operate 112 flights a week to Krung Thep.

Seven times to Bangkok sounds good, but that is from the home port of Doha. As far as I know, Qatar only flies once a day from Amsterdam……………..

2x flown 1x 3 years ago nothing but praise, everything perfect, the intention was to go more often. The 2nd x was already less delayed at Schiphol and therefore a very short transfer to Doha, without normally being able to stretch your legs, eat / drink something or take a nicotine shot if you smoke. Last year there were also the changing flight times, so you no longer arrived early in the morning and the fact that the tickets were a lot more expensive than 2 years earlier. Then we even flew in the peak season and now at the end of this, so the choice for another airline was quickly made.

Some time ago, this airline announced that they also flew to Chiangmai.
Turned out to be different , from Doha to Bangkok and then with Bangkokair to Chiangmai .
So just like the rest of the airlines.
At first it looked like you could fly direct from Doha to Chiangmai on a few days of the week.

So many flights from the Middle East to Bangkok, I read here.
    Remarkable!
    Can someone tell me
what is special to pick up in Thailand
for this part of the world's population?
    Certain types of economic activities?
    Burning petrodollars?
