KLM World deal weeks: Bangkok return from € 537,-
The KLM World Deal weeks started yesterday. Discounted flight tickets can be booked up to and including 22 January. In total, more than a hundred destinations have been discounted, including Bangkok. You can already book a ticket from € 537,-
Thailand is a top destination for many travelers. The hospitality, enchanting sights and rich cuisine are just a few reasons to put this country on your bucket list. You can now add the price to these reasons. And KLM flies directly to the Thai capital without a stopover.

Hopefully they will also come up with such an offer before November 2016. Still want to continue flying directly with Eva-air, China Airlines or KLM.
Flying with a transfer is very doable.
In fact, the last hours of a flight weigh the heaviest, and become heavier the longer the flight lasts.
I used to fly via Vienna.
The first two hours to Vienna flew by.
And the connecting flight to Bangkok also took a long time, but it was not in proportion to the discomfort of the last hours of the direct flight from Amsterdam.
They couldn't get through.
Hopefully they will also come up with such an offer for return tickets departing from Bangkok (to Amsterdam and back to Bangkok) because they are considerably more expensive.
Be careful with the hidden costs at KLM in 2015, because they will no longer take your preferred seat (aisle or window) into account for free and plan to charge EUR 40/return for this! And you probably won't notice that when you book, but only when you check in. The reason given by KLM is that they want to give late bookers an equal chance as early bookers; but it is not clear to me why that should cost money. Moreover, late bookers are also free to book early. So it's just another ordinary price increase.
My question: Which other airlines flying from AMS to BKK still take into account your preferred aisle or window in 2016? EVA, China Airlines and/or Cathay, Finnair?
Correction to my previous message: 2015 should of course be 2016 and that measure would come into effect at the end of January 2016.
I just received the KLM offer again.
I have recently flown about the last 6 flights with KLM again, but this makes me think again.
€ 539 starts with a flight from air france and since I have flown 1x with air france and also the last time. So the cheapest flight I get is € 665. And if I then have to pay extra for a seat of my choice, you still tap the €700,- euro. Or how do you scare the common man away. Well done KLM keep it up. China airlines flies in the time that I go again for € 560 and Emirates with a transfer € 579 with a wonderfully comfortable A380
