Dear Ronnie,

I am retired and residing in Thailand on an annual multiple entry visa based on my marriage to a Thai. Every 90 days I leave Thailand and when I come back I get a new stamp for 90 days.

Do I then have to go to the local immigration office again for an additional registration of my address in Thailand?

Regards,

Serge

Dear Serge,

In principle yes. But that again depends on which local rules are applied.

Most ask for a new notification when you return from abroad. For others, it is not necessary if you have a year extension and you always return to the same address.

You can ask that in the next message.

In your case, you use a Non-immigrant “O” Multiple entry and do a “border run” every 90 days. I therefore suspect that people will say that a report must be made after each new arrival.

Regards,

RonnyLatYa
