Questioner: Leon

At the end of December I want to go on holiday to Thailand for two months and I was busy arranging a visa online. Since this is quite laborious, I was wondering if it is still possible to extend a visa exemption of 30 days for another 30 days at the local immigration office in Pattaya? Or is this mandatory to do this online as of November 22?

I could not find this in the Thailand visa file.

Best regards and awaiting an answer.

Yes, you can still extend a Visa Exemption by 30 days. As far as the IO allows. Has it ever been written that this is no longer possible?

Online only applies to visa applications.

A Visa Exemption is a visa exemption and you cannot apply for it.

Extension concerns the period of stay and not the visa and cannot be applied for online.
