Questioner: Cock Brouwer

Before November 14, I have to do my visa, non-immigrant O (annual extension). The pieces I need are; TM 7, copy passport, copy TM 6, copy all stamps, copy first page Thai family book, address details, copy Thai marriage register (Buddhist). Copy ID Card wife, income statement from my accountant in the Netherlands. Extract KTB bank with
more than 400.000 baht bank balance.

I think I'm not missing anything?

Can you message me.

You're officially married anyway because you're referring to a Buddhist wedding, which is really just a wedding ceremony. You must have entered into an official marriage registered at the town hall in Thailand.

If that is indeed the case, you should ask for a recent extract from the Kor Ror 2 marriage registration. If you entered into that marriage abroad and it was subsequently registered in Thailand, that is a Kor Ror 22. Please note that this document is only valid for 30 days.

As for the financial. It is EITHER a bank amount, OR an income. Both are not necessary.

– If you are officially married, an amount of at least 400 Baht in a Thai bank is sufficient. Must be on it two months before application. Be careful with follow-up applications because there are immigration offices that ask for 000 months.

You must therefore ask the bank for a proof of that amount. The bank thus proves that this amount is actually on it and for how long. Then you also have to update your bank book.

Banks normally know what to give. Please note that it is all from the day of the application itself. Some immigration offices allow the bank slip to be 1 or more days earlier, but the passbook update must be the same day. Do you have to make a transaction first, otherwise you will not receive an update for that day. Make sure you don't go below 400 000 because of that.

– You could also use an income of at least 40 000 Baht, but then you must have a visa support letter from the embassy.

For a wedding, people usually also require 6 photos of you together at your home. At various locations in and around the house. The house number must also be on at least 1. Usually, a witness will also be requested with the first application.

I don't know what a Thai family book is or do you mean the blue address book? In principle, your name will not be there anyway, but you will need to prove your wife's address.

I think you already have everything else. Usually it has to be done in 2 copies

I advise you to go to immigration beforehand. Each has its own local rules and there is normally a document there with all the requirements they want to see there.

For your information. With that amount of 400 000 together with a visa support letter proving an income of 40 000 you could also apply as Retired. After all, that is more than 800 on an annual basis. But there is nothing wrong with requesting it as a Thai Marriage if you prefer.
