Thailand Visa question No. 263/21: Non-immigrant O

I have a Non Imm visa. O. My 90 days are up on November 1. I am listed as address in Bangkok. I am now temporarily in Roi et. I have not used form tm 6 or tm 30. I have already had 1 x 90-day extension.

Do I have to go back to Bangkok now or can I also get the 90 day extension near here?

I hope you can answer me about this.

You can have a Non-immigrant O, but I doubt that you have obtained an extension of 90 days. Normally you can only extend for one year, or once for 60 days if you are married or have a Thai child.

I think what you're talking about is a 90 day address notification.

Please note that a 90-day notification only concerns the notification of the address. It never entitles you to stay in Thailand. The piece of paper with the date on it is only a reminder when you have to make the next address report, but it never means that you can stay in Thailand until that date.

It is also clearly stated on that piece of paper in a frame and in red. Normal anyway.

Right of residence is only possible with a period of residence that you obtained upon entry or by extension and is always stamped in your passport.

I suggest you check this out carefully.

In principle, 90-day reports must be made in the immigration office of your place of residence, but are also accepted in other immigration offices if they are in a good mood.

A TM6 is only for departure and entry into Thailand.

A TM30 is on arrival in a new place of residence and must be done by the person responsible for the address
