I am working on an application for a non-O visa family in order to convert it into visa marriage in Thailand.
My Dutch marriage certificate is being legalized, bank accounts and insurance are in order. Sometimes you are also asked for a criminal record (VOG certificate of conduct) and birth certificate.
Is it good to legalize these documents as well? Are there any more recommendations?

What you are applying for is a Non-immigrant O based on your Thai marriage. You must then provide proof of your marriage when applying for that visa.
In Thailand you don't have to convert anything. You already have a Non-immigrant O.
The residence period of 90 days that you received upon arrival can be extended by one year based on your Thai marriage. For this, your marriage must be registered in Thailand.
Translation of your passport, marriage certificate and birth certificate will then be necessary. I don't think VOG is required.
If registered you will receive a Kor Ror22. This is proof that you are married and that the marriage took place abroad. (If you were married in Thaimand this is a Kor Ror2).
However, it is best to obtain information from your town hall in Thailand about the necessary papers to be provided. Local rules can also play a role here.
