Questioner: Chris

Most likely I will ask for the known way, I will definitely go to Thailand and have myself deregistered from BRP on June 30, 2022. I am retired and have a few questions.

What is better to apply for a visa for 90 days and extend it in a year with multiple entry or apply now with payment of € 175? This also in connection with the mandatory insurance that is requested for the duration of the visa.

Thanks for your answer.

It is sufficient to apply for a Non-immigrant O Retired Single entry. Costs 70 Euros.

Upon arrival, you will thus obtain a residence period of 90 days. You can then extend those 90 days by a year. I think the conditions for this are already known by now. Can you repeat annually.

Just remember that if you were to leave Thailand, for whatever reason, you must first apply for a re-entry. This way you will keep the end date of your annual extension upon return.
