25.000th comment on Thailandblog
The 25.000th response from a visitor was posted on Thailandblog.nl today.
The credit goes to… Ton van den Brink and his response to the article 'Many surprises outside Bangkok'
Great informative article! I spent a week in Bangkok in 2010, now I've been able to see what I've been missing! (Obviously we visited a few sights, but not all!) We thought it was a great city, I would go there again for a month We went to it on our own Thailand traveled and then you miss a lot information, despite the fact that you try to inform yourself about what there is to see via the internet. After our visit to Bangkok I subscribed to “Thailandblog” and we learned a lot from that! We both love Thailand very much, it really is a wonderful country!
Interaction with visitors
Thailandblog.nl started at the end of 2009 with tourism information, news, opinion and backgrounds about Thailand. The blog quickly experienced enormous growth and with the current 75.000 unique visitors per month, the blog is a resounding success. Not least because of the interaction with the visitors. The articles on Thailandblog are of a high standard and are mainly written by professionals with a journalistic or editorial background. This distinguishes the blog from other forums on the same subject.
Ten responses per article
There are now more than 2.500 articles about Thailand on the blog. A simple calculation shows that each article generates an average of 10 responses. As a result, visitors also contribute. It is known that comments from readers on a blog are often read better than the article itself. Readers participate actively in the discussion. There are therefore many experts by experience, about 9.000 Dutch people live in Thailand. Those are the connoisseurs tips and advice, can be of service to the many tourists who come to Thailand. The group of bloggers also consists of expats, pensioners and enthusiastic Thailand visitors.
Quality
“Good quality content pays off and ensures repeat visitors,” says John Sarbach, freelance journalist, Thailand expert and editor of Thailandblog. “In addition, we have a fairly strict moderation policy, which is unfortunately necessary. We don't want discussions to get out of hand, as you sometimes see on other Thailand forums,” says editor Hans Bos, a former journalist who is enjoying his pre-retirement in Hua Hin, Thailand. The success of Thailandblog also has to do with the diversity of the topics. Initiator and founder of Thailandblog khun Peter 'We can count ourselves lucky that we have dozens of guest bloggers. This also includes Dutch (former) journalists who live in Thailand. Ultimately, we share our shared passion for Thailand”.
Congratulations and keep it up! Tjok dee!
This blog (together with the SBP site) is my primary source of information. Whether it's news, advice, exchange of experiences or just a piece of entertainment. I also looked a few times on a well-known Dutch forum about Thailand, but for me it didn't score nearly as high as TB and SBP.
Sorry rob V, but what does SBP stand for. ?
Also wants to stay up to date with Thailand info as much as possible.
foreign partner foundation.
basically doesn't have much to do with thailand 😉
Is Jim right, and no not immediately, but if you have met a Thai girlfriend, then both sites are relevant. Common sense will get you there, but sites like this make it a little easier and more fun.
No one will ever understand thé Thai, just as you won't understand thé Netherlands (especially if you come from outside), because they don't exist. But that in turn gives rise to more articles, discussions, fun and frustrations. 😉 There are plenty of stereotypes, clichés and personal experiences to share and use as a source for your own unique situations in which you end up.
nice another milestone Thailand Blog. With all those milestones, a solid BLOG hear what it says
Congratulations, and just sober Dutch "just keep going"

Congratulations. On to the hundred thousand. Your information is extremely good. I'd say keep it up.
Thanks for the honorable mention that I was allowed to post the 25.000th comment! On to the 50.000th!! Thailand Blog more than worth reading.
Ton van den Brink.
I also thought the ball that someone recently tossed about a netherlandsblog.co.th was funny. It will probably not happen (soon), although I have seen a single blog and forum from Thai in and about NL. Women can talk a lot, especially Thai ladies, but whether a blog is also spent on them? :p
It remains difficult with blogs, you need readers as well as comments, and of course updates. Many blogs that started with the best of intentions quickly fail. Makes this milestone all the more beautiful!
Nice score in a short time! The pieces are therefore fun and informative and the response is sometimes fascinating. Good luck and above all: keep it up!
congratulations and may many more articles follow
always enjoy reading it
going to thailand at the end of january
and always learn something from your publications
thank you and keep going
For some time now you have given me a lot of information about Thailand through these blogs.
I am getting more excited by the day.
It's not all roses and moonshine, but we are getting closer together through these blogs.
Keep it up and I hope to be able to give you information later, but that may take a while.

Good blog, congratulations, keep it up, there may be countless more comments as far as I'm concerned.
