A popular way to scam tourists is the jet ski scam. The unsuspecting tourist has to pay for damage to a jet ski that was already there. It often involves substantial amounts.

A while ago there was a lot of attention for Phuket. This phenomenon also plays out in Pattaya. This is evident from hidden camera images.

I think we should ban the jet ski rig. Just don't ever sit on that thing again. Then they automatically become unemployed. Calling the police makes no sense, they are also part of the conspiracy. The tourist police has been instructed not to interfere. Then you know enough. TIT.

Here again the top ten scams in Thailand.

It reminds me a bit of Big Troubles in Tourist Thailand. However, this is a problem that you can't just get rid of. You hope not to experience it.

Interesting video about a Dutch boy who rented a Jet ski in Phuket (Patong beach) and broke the front panel of his Jetski. He was willing to pay until he was told the price. They asked 55.000 baht.
