Amazing Thailand Amazing Romance
Tourism Authority of Thailand, in partnership with Bangkok Airport Suvarnabhumi, has launched a promotion for couples and honeymoon couples in the month of February.
Couples coming to Thailand for a romantic trip can go through the expedited immigration lane. This campaign applies to all couples (straight or gay).
To go through the “premium lane”, one must register. Registration takes place through one of the Amazing Thailand Amazing Romance counters. On the east side of the airport, the couples can register in Gates A, B and C and on the west side these are Gates E, F and G. After registration, the bridal couple will receive a sticker with the “Amazing Romance” logo. Then they can proceed to the premium immigration lane. In addition, they receive a nice souvenir, they receive a photo session as a gift and they can win a nice spa package or dinner.
The “Amazing Thailand Amazing Romance” counters are open daily from 05.00 a.m. to 21.00 p.m. and for the souvenirs: be quick because gone = gone.

Nice idea, but here too the ordinary tourist who visits Thailand more often than most married couples are left behind. Were it first only the Thai who are entitled to god knows how many benefits. Now also newlywed couples and I who probably only spend more in Thailand as a newly married couple, which is mainly on the beach or at the pool at an expensive resort, can stay at the back of the queue.
