Recreation area at Maprachan ready

A four-lane road has been constructed between the Maprachan water reservoir (near Pattaya) and the road. However, this four-lane road is only intended for recreational purposes such as walkers, joggers and cyclists. Safely separated from other car traffic and motorbikers.

This four-lane road is separated in the middle by a wide concrete channel, so that both groups remain on their "own" track. The bike path has clear signage for both opposing traffic flows. A small section is a wide two-lane road.

There are several possibilities to rent a bicycle along the road. At “my” coffee shop, the rent is only 50 Baht for 3 hours of use of a new bicycle with six gears. They get a bicycle helmet and even a bottle of water, very nice. During the cycling tour around the lake you get a good view of the beautiful varied environment. At a certain point you can also see how high the cycle path is in relation to the underlying road on which cars can drive.

A leisurely bike ride around the lake takes just 45 minutes. For cycling enthusiasts who want to train, they will be able to cycle around the lake a number of times or turn into the hinterland, which happens regularly in this area.

You also drive through a beautifully landscaped park with some exercise equipment, but there are also seats to enjoy the surroundings. The park is sometimes used to hold (art) markets. It is sometimes a surprise to me because it is not always announced.

There are more interesting things to visit around the lake and it becomes a kind of journey of discovery for enthusiasts.

Nice, I'll go there sometime. Assume there are enough food stalls.

Dividing the walking or cycling path in two directions has been done for the Chinese. If Chinese people from two buses walk in opposite directions, they will not run into each other. Because the Chinese and making room for each other don't go together. Often experienced in Jomtien and surroundings, Aside, aside and aside because 'we' arrive here.

By the way, why didn't you post my previous comment? I did say it was well done though. Not for me because I'm too lazy, but for others.
