The Thai cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal to nominate a coastal area on the Andaman Sea, which is already a recognized nature reserve, for inclusion in the provisional list of Unesco World Heritage Sites. The proposed site runs through Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket, and also includes six national parks and one mangrove swamp.
