The cultural differences between Thailand and the West are very large. It is therefore important to immerse yourself in Thai culture. Things that are apparently unimportant to us can have a lot of impact in Thailand. An example is presenting a farang to the parents of a Thai woman.
Thailand reader question: Is there a scenario to get my Thai girlfriend to come to Belgium?
Is there a script somewhere on how I can get my Thai girlfriend to come to Belgium for a period of 3 years? Possibly learn Dutch, work and marry. This until I am retired myself (in 3 years). Only then will we both migrate back to Thailand. Or is there a consultancy agency that can arrange all these matters and paperwork for us?
A friend is the best medicine
My girlfriend is, in my opinion, an awfully precise type and I myself get the title 'sloddervos' from her quite regularly. In my experience I am not that at all, but I just work a lot faster and can make decisions quickly.
