I have been tired all the time for a few months and sleep a lot, I drink moderately and smoke moderately.
Question to general practitioner Maarten: Fatigue and difficulty walking since December 2022
Fatigue and difficulty walking (waddling gait, like a duck) since December 2022, also can not stand for long. Twice experienced an attack of vertigo.
Question to GP Maarten: Hardly any more energy, is that due to side effects of medicines?
My age is 73. I weigh: 110kg and I am 189 cm. I drink beer regularly. I smoke a few shaggies a day. Lately I hardly have any energy. I used to walk about 7 kilometers every morning. Now I'm happy if I get 3.
Question to general practitioner Maarten: Sleeping problems
Although I think I am healthy and live a healthy life, I still have a question for advice, because during the day I am mostly dead tired. I had thought that after my retirement (2016) this would change, but alas. I sleep very badly. All my life
Recently I made an unwelcome smack on the concrete. I broke the button at the top of my upper left arm. irreparable. A titanium replacement. And I'm in rehabilitation. Since then I have been more tired than usual. Recovery through physiotherapy is slow. I presented my fatigue to my cardiologist. He had an extensive blood test performed.
I visited a urologist because of frequent urination at night. He examined me very briefly with his finger and said that the prostate is very large. He put me on 4mg for two months. Doxazosin given! It makes me very dizzy and tired day and night!
