VAT; How do you claim Thai sales tax back?
VAT, VAT, is levied when a good is brought into economic circulation. But what if that good leaves the country? Then there are rules for refunds. Thailand also has those rules, and has just changed. Attached is an overview.

I have been deregistered in the Netherlands and registered in the population register here in Thailand and have been for many years. Do come to the Netherlands with some regularity about twice a year to visit family, sometimes alone and sometimes with my Thai other half. Almost always buy in my notebook in the Netherlands, this was always slightly cheaper, mainly because you then had original Windows with it and you always had to buy it separately in Thailand for about 2 euros.
