The Dutch spend more money on holidays again

In total, about two-thirds of the Dutch population want to go on summer vacation this year. Approximately 7,6 million Dutch people want to go abroad this summer and 2,5 million Dutch people opt for a summer holiday in their own country.
Travelers who put together their own holiday with an internet provider must be given the same protection as when booking a package holiday. That is what the ANWB, travel industry organization ANVR and the Consumers' Association think.

Dutch holidaymaker wants to discover new places in 2015
Discovering the world and seeing new places are high on the list of resolutions. Because almost one in five Dutch people choose a holiday destination this year where they have not been before. And if money were no object, more than one in five would like to take a sabbatical for a nice, long road trip.
Decrease in number of holidays of Dutch people stops
NBTC-NIPO Research expects that the Dutch will take as many holidays in 2015 as in 2014. This will put an end to the slight decreases of the past two years.
