Established as a joint venture between Vietnamese and Thai partners, the company serves a range of domestic and international routes. With a focus on customer service and efficiency, Thai Vietjet Air plays an important role in air traffic accessibility in Southeast Asia.
Budget airlines Thai AirAsia and Thai Vietjet in fierce competition for scarce passengers
Although the demand for domestic flights is limited, Thai AirAsia (TAA) and Thai Vietjet Air are still competing with each other. Thai AirAsia will fly from Suvarnabhumi and the current user Thai Vietjet wants to use more routes.
Thailand has another new low-cost airline richer. Thai Vietjet Air (TVJA) will start its first flight on September 15. This Thai subsidiary of Vietjet Air from Vietnam will fly on three routes: Bangkok – Phuket, Bangkok – Chiang Rai and Bangkok – Chiang Mai.
