Belgians and Dutch nationals who officially live in Thailand and have a bank account with Argenta will lose them as of 1 September. as Who knows banks that do accept an account even if you live in Thailand outside the so-called SEPA zone?

Are there still people whose bank account in Belgium has been closed by Argenta? I previously saw a post where other banks also closed the account with Belgians and Dutch people.

There are a number of reports that the Belgian bank Argenta wants to close the accounts of Belgians who have permanently moved to Thailand. To date I have not received any communication from my bank.

I have been living in Korat for 7 years, I come from Belgium. I use Argenta bank for my transfers from Belgium to Thailand. I was very satisfied with that. I have now received a message that Argenta will stop non-sepa transfers from 1 October 2020.

I am Belgian and I regularly transfer money to a Thai account. This is done free of charge via Argenta. The disadvantage is that you always have to go to the bank with an original form. Is there no possibility to transfer money via internet banking?
