Since we fly to Thailand on December 1 with Eva Air, I have the following question. I regularly check the Schiphol app to see whether Eva's BR76 flight departs with all passengers on board. I often see that they are currently leaving with a delay of approximately 50 minutes, but what I cannot see is whether people are actually left behind because they do not get through security in time?

You can read enough in the press about the long waiting times at Schiphol before you can board a flight to “somewhere”. Due to a shortage of staff, security checks cause huge delays, sometimes causing travelers to miss their flights. All travelers departing from the Netherlands have to deal with those long waiting times, there is no escaping it. Or right?

For now, I'm fed up with Schiphol. Shuffling for four hours in an endless queue towards the plane and, to make matters worse, running for ten minutes not to miss the plane, has gone down the wrong way with me. Man, what a mess. But yes, I had to go back to our house in Hua Hin with daughter Lizzy.
