Problems with Wise when transferring to Kasikorn Bank
A few weeks ago, an acquaintance of mine made two transfers from Wise (Euro account) to the Kasikorn bank. Instead of a few seconds as usual, this time it took 6 days before his money was in the Thai bank, with a credit of 500 baht still owed to him. little had been paid out. After several emails and a few telephone conversations, it turns out to be one of their partners who is causing the problem.
“A mistake by the bank against you, you pay f 200”
Remember the Community Chest cards from the board game Monopoly? One of the cards was “A mistake by the bank in your favor, you receive f 200”. The Belgian Thailand blog readers then received Bfrs 4000. In the real world, banks do not make mistakes in your favor, only mistakes or errors against you. So is my Dutch bank, which has grown by lending money to farmers, but nowadays much more from outsiders. An amount of € 78,50 was deducted from my account in the event of a refund, which is almost NLG 200. Let me explain.
