Yes, it's almost that time again; the best day for the children, and the parents, in Bangkok and beyond. Sinterklaas has just informed the NVT that he will be present again this year on Saturday morning, December 2, in the beautiful garden of the Dutch embassy.

Looking back on Coffee Morning NVT and meeting the new ambassador
A nice turnout of around 30 interested people who were present at the residence last Tuesday to meet the new residents: ambassador Remco van Wijngaarden with his husband Carter Duong and their three children Ella, Lily and Cooper.
On July 22, I saw a call from the NVT on Thailandblog.nl to register for an Astra Zenica vaccination in Bangkok. I thought that the more registrations, the more opportunities. It was the third registration list for me. In the end I registered with the national expatvac list.
Last Monday, about 200 expats managed to get the first AstraZeneca shot in the brand new Vimut hospital in Bangkok. This was an initiative of a number of foreign chambers of commerce, including the NTCC, which was kind enough to involve the NVT as well.
Agenda: Farewell to ambassador Kees Rade
On Tuesday, July 6, the NVT Bangkok will hold a special coffee morning because they say goodbye to our ambassador Kees Rade and his wife Katharina Cornaro.

July Blog Ambassador Kees Rade (10)
On the eve of my departure to the sweltering Netherlands (from the rain in the drizzle…) a short summer blog, as announced in my previous blog. Short, because you can tell from the amount of emails, visitors and meetings that the holiday season has arrived. But that does not mean that nothing is happening at all, on the contrary.
