This is my fifth overtime. Twice Chiang Mai – efficient, twice Trat – paperwork and inconsistent. And now Hua Hin – transparent and efficient. On the wall hangs a placard explaining the procedure.

Is no health insurance required when renewing as “Retired”? If I apply for an extension as “Retired” at Immigration Korat in due course, will this also be possible without health insurance, such as the same with “Thai Marriage”, as you mentioned? (In the latter you will receive an annual visit from Immigration, they will take pictures of your interior, witnesses and a road map must be presented.)

When applying for a visa, in particular the “non-immigrant “O” visa for married couples with multiple entries, I read that I can travel to Thailand several times with that visa, with a maximum of 90 days. Now my question is, what do they mean by multiple times, forever with this visa or is this also limited?

I plan to finally travel to Thailand again. I arrive on 08-04-22 and will leave again on 30-09-22. I already have a ticket.
Now I have to apply for a visa for that period. I want to apply for a Non O which is valid for 90 days and I know that I can extend it to a year of Non O retirement which is then valid for one year.

My Thai wife and I want to go to Thailand in October/November because of our preparations for a (partial) departure from NL to TH. My wife has a house in Korat - it needs to be refurbished and her family needs to be visited. Because of my work I can then definitively go to Thailand in August 2023.

Regarding renewal of a retirement visa. I read that regarding insurance, you need insurance if you have an OA visa, but you don't need insurance if you have an O visa. Is it possible to have an OA visa converted to an O visa and if so does anyone know how to do that?

Have a Non-imm O-single visa for 90 days and it has now been extended at immigration for 60 days until 24/4/2020. Go back to Belgium 22/03. Can this be extended to the next return to Thailand (November 2022) or does everything have to be redone?

In a few months we will take pre-retirement and want to live in Thailand for a longer period of time. Since we do not want to do too many visa runs, we want to apply for a visa for a longer period of time. Now I'm running into the following problem and can't find anything on the internet. I myself am 57 and have sufficient financial means to apply for a visa, but my wife is also Dutch and is 43 so I do not qualify.

I have a few practical questions regarding retirement extension. I obtained this at Immigration today, having previously obtained a Non Immigrant O. However, my passport is only valid until 28.12.2022.

I am in Thailand on a non-immigrant O visa for 90 days. My visa will soon expire and shortly before that time I have booked a flight back to the Netherlands. If I have the great bad luck that I test positive for Corona just before the flight, I will have to go into quarantine, but my visa will expire during that time!
