I immediately followed your advice and I came across something super. Do you know this system? I am very interested in this. I don't care about the cost. I want to get rid of the pain. An open MRI machine.
I fell and have a lot of pain in my upper arm and back. I've already had cortisone injections and they don't help. They want to do an MRI scan now, but I am 2 meters tall and 100 kg. The machine is so small that I wanted to get out of it after 2 minutes.
Question to general practitioner Maarten: Have an MRI scan made preventively in Thailand?
A full MRI scan (via Prescan) costs 1600 euros in Germany, but now I know that the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya can also do that for half the price.
My daughter and her husband want to have this done and then it pays to fly to Thailand.
My question is: do you have experience with people who have had this done in Thailand?
