We will most likely leave for Thailand for the first time with our neighbors in early September. Very exciting venture as my wife and I have never traveled so far before. Never been to Asia before. My wife has some difficulty walking and is Bangkok suitable for people who are disabled? Facilities toilets, western toilets? The shopping malls will probably be luxuriously equipped?
Thailand question: Is Krabi a good destination for a disabled person in a wheelchair?
I want to live in Thailand but I am wheelchair bound. I would like to live in Krabi does anyone know if this is a suitable area for me?

Can you advise me? Am disabled and would still like to go to Thailand on holiday. By disabled I mean an upper leg amputation, so I can't walk very far. In the meantime I have a friend who comes there regularly, that he has not yet seen a scooter there.
