Yesterday, the website of Bangkok Post reported that the recognition of Khon dans as cultural heritage by Unesco had gone to Cambodia. Today the newspaper contradicts itself (but we are used to that by now) by another report in which Prime Minister Prayut is pleased about the recognition of the Thai Khon dance by Unesco.

As part of the EU Heritage Days, the historic Baan Hollanda in Ayutthaya will be open to the public on September 15 and 16. Baan Hollanda was originally the location of the Dutch trading office in the Ayutthaya kingdom in the 17th century and today it serves as an information center about the historical relationship of Thailand and Holland.
