Fine Thai food at a supermarket: Food Court
A good way to get acquainted with Thai cuisine is a Food Court, for example that of Tesco. The food is of consistent quality, cheap and hygienically prepared.
Following the example of many cities and towns in Thailand, Cha-Am now also has a cozy Food Court. This is located on the beach.
As most tourists know, in Thailand you have the choice of eating on the street or in a restaurant. However, there is a third interesting possibility; eat at a food court.

The prices for food and drinks on Suvarnabhumi do not lie, just very expensive. Fortunately, there is an alternative. If you want cheap and delicious Thai food at Bangkok Airport, go to 'Magic Food Point' on the first floor. You will find this Food Court on the 1st floor (ground floor), in the corner at exit 'Gate 8' next to the counter of the bus to Pattaya/Jomtien.
Food Court CentralFestival Pattaya in a new look
It was old and too cramped, the food court in CentralFestival mall in Pattaya. For a number of weeks there were only fences to be seen behind them, a lot of work was being done. The result may be there, as shown in the photo above.
