From Monday, two new bus routes will open from central Bangkok to Don Mueang International Airport. For only 30 baht you can board at Lumphini Park downtown and Sanam Luang (the old quarter). The new bus lines are therefore a lot cheaper than the Airport Limo Bus service, which can be booked online for 150 baht per person.

Plans in 2017 for Thailand's airports
The Thai government forecasts that 2017 will see an increase in the number of foreign tourists to 34 million, with an additional 150 million domestic air travellers. The larger airports, such as Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang in Bangkok, U-Tapao Rayong/Pattaya, Krabi. Phuket and Chiang Rai are anticipating this with plans for renovation or expansion.
