What started as a simple bus trip from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son quickly turned into an adventurous venture full of surprises. On board an ancient, orange bus with open doors and a wooden floor offering a direct view of the asphalt, my expectations were tested. As I made my way through the winding roads of Northern Thailand, alongside my unflappable wife Oy, I was confronted with the unpredictability of traveling in this remote region. Looking back on this experience, from the itchy souvenirs from mother-in-law's yard to the flying noodles, it's clear that the trip was as memorable as the destination itself.

Is there still a bus from Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin? And if so, is it possible to get to the airport from Bangkok itself? I'm going to Thailand in mid-January and then staying in Bangkok for 3 days and then I want to go to Hua Hin. I know that there is also a bus in Bangkok itself, but I think you'll spend an hour in a taxi just to get to the bus station.

I am going from Ban mo to Sukhothai on January 8th. My question is: when I arrive in Phitsanulok by train, do I still have to take the bus to Sukhothai. Could someone tell me from where the buses depart to there and whether there are multiple departure times or whether it is better to take a hotel in Phitsanulok for 1 night?
